INFORMATION ABOUT THE WAITING TIME FOR CONSIDERATION OF THE APPLICATION

The applications are considered in accordance with the order of received. Due to a lot of applications submitted to the Ombudsman and the limited workers in the Ombudsman's Team, the waiting time for consideration of an application is now currently extended.
Applications from fourth quarter 2022 are currently being considered.

Entry into the register

On April 8th, the Passengers’ Rights Ombudsman was entered into the register of entities authorised to conduct the procedure regarding the out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes kept by the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection at number 11

Letter of the President of the Civil Aviation Authority regarding out-of-court dispute resolution

On April 1st, 2019, under the amended Act Aviation Law, the Passenger Rights’ Ombudsman has been appointed by the President of the Civil Aviation Authority to consider passengers’ complaints in the ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) mode, i.e. out-of-court consumer dispute resolution. We invite you to read the letter of the President of the Civil Aviation Authority Piotr Samson, in which he encourages consumers to use this form of mediation.
